Newcastle United Beat Burnley 2-1
A goal in either half from Callum Wilson earned Newcastle United a 2-1 win at Turf Moor and ended Burnley's six-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.
Newcastle's patience paid off as they comfortably beat a Burnley side who remain in search of their first Premier League win of the season.
The Magpies took the lead in the 20th minute when Wilson pounced on a rebound following Nick Pope's save from Miguel Almiron's shot. Burnley levelled in the 58th minute through Ashley Barnes, but Wilson restored Newcastle's lead just seven minutes later.
Newcastle held on to their lead in the second half to secure all three points, which moved them up to eighth in the table. Burnley, meanwhile, remain in the relegation zone in 18th place.
